Instructions
To Make:
Cut off top ¼ of onion and peel off some of paper. Cut off bottom roots to make onion sit evenly.
Cutting from top, slice halfway into the onion as if cutting a pie into 6 or 8 pieces.
Soak onions in beer for 1 hour. (Chicken Broth or Wine may be used instead for the soak).
To Cook:
Place onions cut side down indirectly over hot coals. Put lid on grill and cook for 45 min.
Turn onions over and spread to look like a blossom.
Spread 1 T. of Butter into each onion. Paint Sioux Z Wow over entire onion and let sit on the grill face up for 10 min.
To Bake
Place onions face up in a baking dish. Paint Sioux Z Wow liberally over each.
Top with butter. Cover with foil and bake at 425 for 1 hour or until tender.
